It is versatile and occasionally works cattle or serves as guard. In fact, a army line of Sars was created in Marshall Josip Toto's kennels.The Sarplaninac (Yugoslav Shepherd) is a reserved and intuitive breed, stubborn and undemonstrative, but properly trained and handled with authority, it excels at a variety of tasks.
